    Privacy Policy

    This policy explains what information YuDownloader handles when you use yudownloader.com, why we need it and what your choices are. Last updated: October 15, 2026.

    Who we are

    YuDownloader ("we", "us") operates the website yudownloader.com, a service that downloads Yupoo albums as ZIP files. For any question about this policy or your data, contact support@yudownloader.com.

    Information we collect

    • Account data. When you register we store your email address and a hashed password (or the identity provided by your login method). Accounts and all other service data are stored on our own servers, hosted by Hostinger in the United States.
    • Downloads. When you open or download an album, our servers fetch it from Yupoo on your behalf. If the album is protected, the password you type is used only to unlock it; we do not store it on our servers. We keep a log of each album you load or download: the album link, the number of images, whether a password was used, the date, your IP address and browser type. We use this log to apply plan limits, prevent abuse and check refund eligibility. The ZIP file is built inside your browser; we never receive or store it.
    • Payment data. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Stripe receives your card details directly; we never see or store your full card number. We keep the subscription status, plan and Stripe customer identifier needed to manage your access.
    • Approximate location. On your first visit we query a geolocation service (ipwho.is, with geojs.io as fallback) with your IP address to pick the site language and the right checkout currency. The result is stored in your browser; we do not build a location history.
    • Support messages. Emails you send us, so we can answer them.

    Cookies and browser storage

    We do not use advertising or third-party analytics trackers, so we do not show a cookie banner. The site only uses your browser's own storage for things the service needs:

    • to keep you signed in and remember your language;
    • to keep your finished downloads available: the ZIP files you prepare in the panel, with the album links and passwords you entered, are saved in your browser (IndexedDB) for up to 7 days so you can download them again after reloading the page. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can delete any item from the downloads table at any time.

    If you turn on copied-link detection in the panel, your browser will ask for permission to read your clipboard. When you return to the panel tab we check it only for a Yupoo album link, to offer the download. The clipboard content is never sent to our servers. You can turn this off in the panel or in your browser settings.

    You can clear all of this from your browser settings at any time; you will simply be asked to log in again and your saved downloads will be removed.

    How we use your information

    • To create and secure your account and let you log in.
    • To download the albums you request and deliver the ZIP files to you.
    • To process payments, apply your plan limits and handle cancellations.
    • To answer support requests and notify you about your account or requests.
    • To prevent abuse of the service.

    We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

    Who we share data with

    We share data only with the providers needed to run the service: Hostinger (the servers that store your data and perform the downloads), Vercel (delivers the website), Stripe (payments), GoDaddy (sends our emails, such as sign-up confirmation and password reset), and the geolocation services mentioned above. Album pages and images are requested from Yupoo on your behalf. Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms. We may also disclose data when required by law.

    Retention

    Account, subscription and download log data are kept while your account exists. ZIP files are never stored on our servers; the copies saved in your browser are deleted automatically after 7 days. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data except what we must keep for accounting or legal obligations.

    Your rights

    You can access, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing support@yudownloader.com from your account address. You can also cancel your subscription at any time from your account or through our contact page. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or Brazil's LGPD; we honour them regardless of your location.

    Security

    All traffic to yudownloader.com is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are never stored in plain text. Access to production data is restricted to what is needed to operate and support the service.

    Changes to this policy

    If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
