Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information YuDownloader handles when you use yudownloader.com, why we need it and what your choices are. Last updated: September 5, 2026.
Who we are
YuDownloader ("we", "us") operates the website yudownloader.com, a service that downloads Yupoo albums as ZIP files. For any question about this policy or your data, contact support@yudownloader.com.
Information we collect
- Account data. When you register we store your email address and a hashed password (or the identity provided by your login method). Authentication is handled by Supabase, our database and authentication provider.
- Download requests. The Yupoo album links you submit, the album password if you provide one, the status of each request and the list of image URLs found in the album. We use them only to perform the download you asked for and to show your request history. ZIP files are generated on demand and streamed to your browser; we do not keep a copy of the ZIP after the download.
- Payment data. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Stripe receives your card details directly; we never see or store your full card number. We keep the subscription status, plan and Stripe customer identifier needed to manage your access.
- Approximate location. On your first visit we query a geolocation service (ipwho.is, with geojs.io as fallback) with your IP address to pick the site language and the right checkout currency. The result is stored in your browser; we do not build a location history.
- Support messages. Emails you send us, so we can answer them.
Cookies and browser storage
We do not use advertising or third-party analytics trackers. The site uses your browser's local storage to remember your language preference and to keep you signed in. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings; you will simply be asked to log in again.
How we use your information
- To create and secure your account and let you log in.
- To download the albums you request and deliver the ZIP files to you.
- To process payments, apply your plan limits and handle cancellations.
- To answer support requests and notify you about your account or requests.
- To prevent abuse of the service.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share data with
We share data only with the providers needed to run the service: Supabase (database, authentication and the functions that perform the downloads), Stripe (payments), and the geolocation services mentioned above. Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms. We may also disclose data when required by law.
Retention
Account and subscription data are kept while your account exists. Download request records are kept so you can access your history. Generated ZIP files are not stored. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data except what we must keep for accounting or legal obligations.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing support@yudownloader.com from your account address. You can also cancel your subscription at any time from your account or through our contact page. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or Brazil's LGPD; we honour them regardless of your location.
Security
All traffic to yudownloader.com is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are never stored in plain text. Access to production data is restricted to what is needed to operate and support the service.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
